Alaskan Golden Hour Inspiration:  Golden Hour hits different in Alaska.  Unlike the other 49 states, a lot of Alaska won’t see darkness again until August, and then it’s only Astronomical Twilight.  Do you remember that from last week’s Tidbit Tuesday?  

Spring, Fall, and Winter are great seasons for sunrises and sunsets, which means Golden Hour!

So what exactly is golden hour?  Golden hour is just after sunrise and just before sunset when the sun is at a low angle, and the sun casts red and gold tones as it’s closer to the horizon, creating the beautiful golden light.  

Golden hour is a prime time for photography because of the gorgeous lighting!  It’s usually about an hour-long, and since it happens twice a day, you have some prime time for photography.

About Alaskan Golden Hour Bracelet: I took Natural Golden Citrine round beads and paired them with my newest favorite, Red Hematoid Quartz Faceted Teardrops to replicate the warm reddish and golden colors of Golden Hour.  I finished it with a brass bamboo shaped bead to represent a sun’s ray. 

This is a stretch bracelet to fit most wrists or ankles. Need a special size? We can customize it just for you.

SIZE & FIT

Sizing Chart

Measure around your wrist with a flexible ruler or tape measure. Wrap the tape measure comfortably around your wrist with just a slight gap between the ruler and your wrist. This is the SMALLEST size bracelet you should comfortably wear. This will also be the approximate inside diameter of the bracelet you should order.
Our leather bracelets are a fixed size. This means, measuring your wrist correctly is very important. See the chart below for our sizes in inches and cm.

Custom      | We can make any of our bracelets to your custom size. Just ask - we are here to help.

Our unique slide-knot adjustable bracelets open up and then close back to a size that you adjust using the slide-knot and pulling the ends of the bracelet. Unless you have an extremely small or extremely large hand, our Regular sized bracelet will work just fine. If you need a custom size, please not only measure your wrist, but the widest part of your hand as well. These measurements will help us to create a perfect fit just for you.
For our stretch bracelets (also known as slip-ons), you want the bracelet to be large enough to go over your hand and then snug back to be comfortable on your wrist. Again, our Regular size is generally sufficient. Custom sizes can be made - just reach out to us. Of note, for the longevity of your stretch bracelet, we recommend 'rolling' your bracelet over your hand onto your wrist instead of 'pulling' the bracelet over your hand. 'Pulling' will cause the bracelet to over-stretch and possibly break.
