Alaskan Inspiration: The Alaskan Paper Birch, a/k/a Betula Neoalaskana, is a species of birch that’s native to Alaska and Northern Canada.
If you’ve followed us for a minute, you know how excited we get when the birch leaves pop out in the spring. Oooo, that green that is suddenly everywhere is such a welcome sight after a long winter.
The trees grow anywhere from 50 to 65 feet. We have one in our woods that is so straight it could be the mast of a ship.
The bark is beautiful. I took some photos of the bark of our trees, and it ranges from a silvery white to a light brown.
Have you ever harvested birch syrup? We do! If you see the first mosquitos, though, you’ve waited too long, and the sap is no longer running.
Alaskan Interpretation: For me, this was a natural because I love our Alaskan Birch trees.
I used silver marquise earrings to represent the silver papery bark, and I used green Amethyst pendants wrapped in silver, to represent the small bright green leaves that first emerge in spring.

Sizing Chart
Measure around your wrist with a flexible ruler or tape measure. Wrap the tape measure comfortably around your wrist with just a slight gap between the ruler and your wrist. This is the SMALLEST size bracelet you should comfortably wear. This will also be the approximate inside diameter of the bracelet you should order.
Our leather bracelets are a fixed size. This means, measuring your wrist correctly is very important. See the chart below for our sizes in inches and cm.

Our unique slide-knot adjustable bracelets open up and then close back to a size that you adjust using the slide-knot and pulling the ends of the bracelet. Unless you have an extremely small or extremely large hand, our Regular sized bracelet will work just fine. If you need a custom size, please not only measure your wrist, but the widest part of your hand as well. These measurements will help us to create a perfect fit just for you.
For our stretch bracelets (also known as slip-ons), you want the bracelet to be large enough to go over your hand and then snug back to be comfortable on your wrist. Again, our Regular size is generally sufficient. Custom sizes can be made - just reach out to us. Of note, for the longevity of your stretch bracelet, we recommend 'rolling' your bracelet over your hand onto your wrist instead of 'pulling' the bracelet over your hand. 'Pulling' will cause the bracelet to over-stretch and possibly break.
